Occasional Thunder
it's almost time for the site's anniversary... unfortunately the project i wanted to complete for it will be taking longer than expected. who knows when it'll be done? though i would still like to make something for it. thank you to everyone who's been keeping up with the site for the past two years (which is easier now that we have an RSS feed!)!
this year, i'd like to return to my little gag-a-day comic strip. i really enjoy making stuff for it, even if i tend to slack a little on it. (sometimes i just can't think of what to make, so i don't try to force it.) ideally, i would like to host it on here again. with 11ty, it's a lot easier for me to set up templates and make liquid layouts, and 'post collections' are actually super handy for it. (heck, i could have a feed for the comic specifically...!)
in other news, i've been playing games with friends a lot. i like how close i've been able to get with them in the past year or two. specific shoutout to our group chat, "Vriichi: Live and Ink", whose name somehow encompasses mahjong, VR, splatoon, and caves of qud. kind of an awesome mishmash. i like getting to play games and talk to my friends and show them what im working on and generally just get out of my own head for a while.
i think this year will have a lot of good in it. i think there will be flowers.
