i spent the whole month of october 2023 making a dogthing a day. i opted not to make a formal prompt list - more in the spirit, rather than the letter of, -tober prompt lists - in an attempt to keep myself motivated and not-trapped in whatever rules and keeping me away from drawing proper.
my main sources of inspiration were the mundane and the quaint. stuff in-between, and stuff that lies on the edges. i reused a lot of old photographs and textures that i've had lying around for ages - at least a few years, if not more - and near the end i took some time to learn more about blender nodes.
