expression of how different perceptions of the self tend to be distinct while also being the same person at their roots. i don't have DID, at least as far as i am aware, but i do feel sometimes that i have a variety of temperaments and ways of speaking that feel discordant to each other at times.

that's just part of being human, i think, with how we have all these versions of ourselves that live in other people. all i can do is live authentically to myself and not worry about them too much.
