mostly i wanted to toy with mixing oil pastels again. though one of these dogthings was drawn with an olive crayon instead, i guess. you wouldn't expect the difference to be that drastic, but crayon really does not glide in the same way oil pastel does thanks to the amount of wax it has. it also doesn't mix that well... sad! it's a great shade of green otherwise.
