i really want to do more with color blocks like this. a large inspiration for this sort of style lies in the movie Gay Purr-ee (1962), which features modernist style illustrations, and more specifically, i enjoy drawing inspiration from a scene in the film featuring the song Take My Hand Paree, sung by Judy Garland.
