my girlfriend was recently tinkering around in blender on her new linuxified laptop, which in turn inspired me to do more 3d art incorporating light... this dogthing appeared in my mind clear-formed. it emits light like a salt lamp.

i also tried to make the composition values consistently dark or light for desktop icon readability, for anyone using this as a wallpaper. i think i did a decent job at doing so!
