something i scribbled on a plane and extruded. i did half when i was on vacation, then did the rest when i got home. this is sort of a little gift for my pal luis, who makes fun little bunthings!!!! and i thought it'd be cute to have a dogthing interact with a bunthing.

the initial draft idea was vague, aside from wanting to turn it into a glass plate. rendering glass was too much work, though, and i felt like the engraving got lost in the glassiness too much. in the end, i made it out of a marbled stone texture, and did my best to highlight the engraving (even without glassiness, it was still pretty hard to see!). i think the radial lighting in the center was a good choice here.
