girl in the daffodils

this is, actually, a painting i referenced of a real photo of my mom as a teenager. (this was probably taken in the 80s.)

my mom was a complex individual with a lot of problems, and for this painting i tried to peer into what i've heard from her teen years to figure out what she was like before the catalysts. this sounds weird actually saying it...

definitely a more personal piece. i don't think i'll post this to any of my other social media, but you can see it here because this is like my little hole.
